2005 IDW continuity
Having come to his senses, the Maximal Shockwave fled to Paris to hide and regain his strength. He remained there even as World War II broke out before he was tracked down by Centurion, who now believed all Cybertronians had to die, in 1943. Their battle attracted several IRON Troopers.
That same year, the Screaming Eagles arrived in the war-torn city to join forces with the French Resistance. Sgt.
