Alan Chapell began his career at a boutique direct marketing agency in Connecticut. In 1996, he founded the privacy program at Jupiter Research, an Internet research firm. After his tenure at Jupiter, Chapell helped develop DoubleClick’s research product suite. He founded Chapell & Associates in October of 2003. Over the past 16 years, Chapell has worked with dozens of premium adtech and martech companies as outside counsel and privacy advisor. Chapell graduated from the University of Connecticut and Fordham University School of Law and is a member of the New York bar as well as a Certified Information Privacy Professional. He’s also a sought after speaker and a regulator contributor to Adexchanger and other publications.

Ken Dreifach sits on the NAI board on behalf of AdRoll, the retargeting and prospecting platform. Since 2000, Ken has served in a variety of high-profile roles in the digital advertising landscape: as a regulator, General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer, and currently as outside counsel to numerous NAI members and other web-based, mobile, and data services companies.

As LiveRamp’s General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer from 2010 to 2015, Ken helped pioneer the data “onboarding” model and privacy best practices related to it. Prior to that, Ken was Chief of the New York Attorney General’s Internet Bureau, where, among other privacy enforcement actions, he oversaw the investigation and settlement arising from DoubleClick’s purchase of Abacus, which set a key precedent regarding online data “merger” practices. Ken began his career as a judicial clerk for Judge Phyllis Kravitch (U.S. Court of Appeals, 11th Circuit) after graduating from NYU School of Law.

Karen Miller Reese is Vice President and Chief Privacy Officer at Yahoo where she is the leader of a global privacy, cybersecurity and data strategy team of attorneys, privacy and policy professionals and technologists in support of Yahoo’s worldwide privacy program. She has over twenty years of experience in digital media and advertising, technology and intellectual property. Prior to leading Yahoo’s privacy program, Karen was a commercial transactions attorney at AOL and prior to her almost 17 year career at AOL/Yahoo, Karen was an associate at Venable LLP in Venable’s IP Litigation practice. Karen has a JD with high honors from Syracuse University and a double major in Psychology and Political Science with high honors from James Madison University with a minor in Criminal Justice.

Budi Tanzi is the Vice President of Product at Experian Marketing Services, overseeing all Identity Products including the legacy Tapad Graph. Prior to joining Experian, Budi worked at various stakeholders of the ad-tech ecosystem, such as Tapad, Sizmek and StrikeAd. During his career, he held leadership roles in both Product Management and Solution Engineering. Budi has been living in New York for almost 11 years and enjoys being outdoors as well as sailing around NYC whenever possible.

Ghita is the Director of Government Affairs & Public Policy for Ads & Commerce at Google, where she leads the team of public policy experts dedicated to supporting Google’s Ads and Commerce businesses. She has over 20 years of legal and policy experience with particular expertise in digital advertising, privacy and technology. Prior to joining Google, Ghita was the Chief Privacy Officer and VP of Legal at Quantcast. She has also worked at Yahoo, as the Assistant General Counsel and Global Head of Privacy Law & Privacy Policy, in private practice, and in U.S. Federal District Court. Ghita has a JD, Magna Cum Laude, from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.A. in Mass Communications, Summa Cum Laude, from James Madison University.

Jagdip is the Product Director of Data Governance at Samba TV. Samba TV is the global leader in television data and analytics with its application available on tens of millions of devices throughout the world. Over the years Jagdip has been a key product contributor to Samba’s integrations with leading TV OEMs. He in fact has been the principal architect of Samba’s opt-in consent experience for the consumer, and designed the company’s pioneering implementation of industry ad frameworks into the television.

Brooks Dobbs is an industry veteran who has worked in digital privacy for over 20 years. He previously served as the Chief Privacy Officer for KBMG/Wunderman Inc. He has served twice on the NAI board, including serving as its first Chairman. Dobbs has worked in many self-regulatory, public policy and privacy enhancing technology areas including the initial NAI code, numerous W3C initiatives, the IAB EU’s Transparency and Consent Framework, efforts surrounding the Partnership for Responsible Addressable Media (PRAM), and ongoing work to make Unified ID 2.0 available to the broader ad tech ecosystem.

Rachel Glasser is the chief privacy officer at Magnite, the world’s largest independent sell side platform. Rachel’s focus is on appropriate data collection and use in advertising technologies, data management and optimization, compliance with privacy laws and regulations, and data privacy education. Rachel is responsible for Magnite’s overall compliance with various data privacy laws and regulations including the GDPR and emerging US laws. Prior to her work at Magnite, Rachel was chief privacy officer at Wunderman Thompson, a digital agency focusing on data management, services and support. She has 15 years’ experience in digital marketing where she began her career by overseeing paid search and social media campaigns across a variety of clients and verticals. Rachel has also worked with the Office of the Attorney General of the State of New York – Internet Bureau, Nielsen, and with the ESRB Privacy Certified, a COPPA Safe Harbor. She has a Bachelor of Arts in politics from Brandeis University and a Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School. She is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey and is a CIPP/US.

Joshua Koran is the Chief Product Officer at InMarket, bringing over 25 years of product development and innovation experience from companies like AT&T, Yahoo!, Zeta, Sizmek and ValueClick. Prior to joining InMarket, Joshua served as Executive Vice President of Data and Policy at Criteo.

Throughout his career, Joshua has also been a vocal advocate to protect and balance people’s important privacy rights. His efforts include being a leading contributor to the Internet privacy standards, such as the self-regulatory codes of conduct for NAI & MMA as well as co-architecting AdChoices and IAB Transparency & Consent Framework for GDPR compliance. Recently, Joshua has been supporting the next generation of Open Web interoperability standards and guidelines development via his contributions to the W3C, ANA Partnership for Responsible Addressable Media, Prebid, IAB EU and IAB TechLab.

As a result of his contributions in the digital space, Joshua has been granted 26 patents. Joshua has also been recognized by Business Insider as “tech expert determining the future of digital advertising” and by Adweek as a top 12 ecosystem innovators for his contributions to the field.

Yashina Burns is the VP of Legal and Privacy at DeepIntent, the advertising technology company built purposefully for the healthcare industry. In her role, Yashina provides strategic counseling on complex legal and compliance issues concerning digital advertising.

She has extensive experience building successful privacy & AI compliance programs, including developing and implementing data flows, impact assessments, data management policies, and data privacy training. Prior to her work at DeepIntent, she advised technology startups on various matters ranging from company formation to IP protection and privacy.

She has a Bachelor of Arts in Law, Societies, & Justice from the University of Washington and a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Irvine School of Law.

Joshua Anton is the Chief Strategy Officer of Digital Envoy, the leader in IP-Geolocation, overseeing Data Partnerships, M&A and Corporate Strategy. Prior to Digital Envoy, he was the CEO and Founder of X-Mode (Now Outlogic). Working alongside key stakeholders, Josh has developed and scaled both the privacy and ethics programs used by Digital Envoy today around user-consent, sensitive geo-location filtering and acceptable location data use-cases. Similarly, he has pioneered the business model around how to source and collect first party data at scale.

In his free time, Josh enjoys travelling, is a huge foodie, and does motivational speaking. Josh has spoken for TedX UVA and for UniLever on social entrepreneurship.

Dan Rosler has over 30 years of experience in Internet technology, digital marketing, legal services, and professional services.  He is currently SVP of Privacy & Compliance at Flashtalking, the leading media-independent Ad Server, where he has cross-functionally led the business and operational aspects of Flashtalking’s global consumer privacy compliance since 2016.  Dan also ensures that Flashtalking maintains vital industry accreditations and audits such as the MRC (Media Rating Council) and the NAI. 

His prior roles include leadership positions at pioneering Internet and Ad Tech startups such as Scient, Adchemy, and Rocket Fuel, as well as at larger organizations including PayPal and Yahoo! Dan received a BA (music) and MBA from the University of California, Berkeley and continues to be a huge fan of the school’s sports teams. “Go Bears!”

Narmeen is currently serving as Associate General Counsel for Quantcast, where she oversees global commercial transactions, data and tech partnerships and privacy compliance matters. With over 5 years of dedicated experience, Narmeen has established herself as a dynamic legal professional with a profound understanding of the intricate landscape of data protection. Her expertise in navigating complex legal issues has been honed through diverse experiences in the technology and advertising sectors.

Prior to this, Narmeen held the position of Associate General Counsel and Data Privacy Officer at IPONWEB, playing a pivotal role in pioneering and implementing their global privacy program and establishing a robust framework for compliance in a rapidly evolving regulatory environment. Narmeen also served as Legal Counsel for Beeswax, with a brief stint at Freewheel/Comcast, and Legal Counsel for Dailymotion.

Narmeen earned her law degree at the University of Glasgow (Scotland), complemented by a year-long exchange program at St. John’s University (NY) and an LL.M specialized in Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law at Fordham University (NY).
