During its first week, it competed withRajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor’s Mr. & Mrs. Mahi and turned out victorious. In its second week, it collided with Kartik Aaryan’s Chandu Champion and this time the horror comedy is giving a run for its money to the biopic.

Munjya on Friday earned Rs 3.5 crore , on Saturday the number was Rs 6.5 crore, Sunday it reached Rs 8.5 crore and Monday which was also a holiday on the occasion of Eid, the film collected Rs 5.25 crore. And the film even on Tuesday, earned Rs 3.40 crore as compared to Chandu’s collection of Rs 3.25 crore. The total collection of Munjya now stands at Rs 62.45 crore as per Sacnilk, while that of Chandu Champion is Rs 29.75 crore.
At this point one can expect the film to have a lifetime run of over Rs 80 crore or even Rs 90 crore, and maybe even touch Rs 100 crore depending how the next two films Ishq Vishq Rebound starring Rohit Saraf, Jibraan Khan and Pashmina Roshan and Kalki 2898 AD starring Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas and Deepika Padukone perform at the box office over the next two weeks.
