Abhay Verma and Sharvari's Munjya remains strong in its fourth week, earning Rs 55 lakh on Monday and Rs 4 crore over the weekend, totaling Rs 95.45 crore. Competing with Kalki 2898 AD, it benefits from the postponement of Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, aiming to cross the Rs 100 crore mark.

Abhay Verma, Mona Singh and Sharvari starrer Munjya, directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, is still holding strong at the box office, despite being in the fourth week of its release. It is now facing competition from Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, which is already dominating the box office by earning more than Rs 343 crore in just 5 days.

Munjya on Monday added Rs 55 lakhs to its kitty, after adding Rs 4 crore over the weekend. The total collection of the film now stands at Rs 95.45 crore and it is trying to cross the Rs 100 mark. And with the postponement of Ajay Devgn and Tabu’s Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha postponing release (and now only Karan Johar’s Kill releasing) , it will not only help Kalki is getting a relatively free run, but will also give Munjya breathing space and help it reach the golden mark of Rs 100 crore.
The film in the first three weeks earned Rs 90.9 crore, while competing with films like Mr and Mrs Mahi and Chandu Champion.
Director Aditya Sarpotdar is now neck deep involved in his next film Kakuda which stars Ritiesh Deshumukh and Sonakshi Sinha, the film was completed by the end of 2022 and it was only now that is has a found a house on OTT. It is releasing on 12th July.
