Ahead of the wedding, Sonakshi Sinha's parents Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha visit Zaheer Iqbal's house - See photos

The industry is abuzz with excitement for Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal's upcoming wedding, set for June 23. Reports indicate that on June 20 they celebrated their Haldi ceremony, kicking off the celebrations.

Amid rumours that Shatrughan Sinha was upset with his daughter for not informing him about her wedding plans, the veteran star, along with his wife Poonam Sinha was spotted and snapped visiting soon-to-be groom Zaheer Iqbal at his residence.

In the photos, Shatrughan and Poonam are seen exiting Zaheer's residence. The young actor is also seen seeing off his soon-to-be father-in-law outside.

Meanwhile, earlier today on June 20, Sonakshi and Zaheer were spotted entering the same building. However, they arrived separately at the venue. Zaheer greeted the paparazzi with a peace sign, whereas Sonakshi refrained from posing for photographs. Sonakshi was dressed in a white outfit and carried a bag, while Zaheer wore a black T-shirt and trousers.

Sonakshi Sinha's brother, Luv Sinha, who has yet to comment publicly on his sister’s wedding, addressed the media on X (formerly Twitter). He wrote, "Dear friends in the media. I don’t post cryptic messages. When I have something to say, I’ll say it clearly."

Meanwhile, for the unversed, Sonakshi and Zaheer first worked together in the 2022 movie Double XL.
