But let’s rewind the clock a bit. Back in 2017, media outlets buzzed with news of Diljit’s private jet purchase.Turns out the singer had to make the decision due to a social media post. A video going viral on social media sees the singer-actor recalling the incident in conversation to Anupama Chopra. The star clarified that he had merely hitched a ride on a producer’s private jet to reach a film location. Excited for his first private jet experience, the star took to his social media accounts to announce his 'new beginnings' on a new jet. However, upon landing, news had already spread that he had purchased a jet. Rather than correcting the misconception, he decided to inquire about purchasing one and ended up being the proud owner of a private jet.

Fast forward to today, and Diljit Dosanjh stands tall as one of the biggest Punjabi artists on the planet. His Dil-Luminati Tour kicked off in Vancouver, Canada, where he made history by hosting the largest Punjabi concert outside India. The BC Place stadium echoed with his soulful melodies, captivating over 50,000 fans. And that’s not all—Dosanjh also etched his name in late-night television history by gracing Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show. The first Punjabi artist to achieve this feat.
His deep connection to Punjab remains unwavering. During a recent visit to Rakab Ganj Sahib gurudwara in Delhi, he participated in community service, showering flowers during the ceremonial transfer of the Guru Granth Sahib. His soulful rendition of “Aar Nanak Paar Nanak” resonated through the hallowed halls.
