Allu Arjun starrer 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' is one of the most anticipated projects of the year. Directed by Sukumar, the film is the sequel to the 2021 blockbuster and it stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in the lead roles. The filmmakers have kept the buzz going for the movie with the two singles they had launched and now the new speculation is that the film might drop out off the Independece day race.

News agency IANS reported that director Sukumar is considering to revisit some parts of the film because of the VFX and it is likely to be reshot for better quality. Though the official confirmation is yet to be made, the buzz surrounding the movie is that it will postpone its release and is being expected to release during Diwali later this year.
The filmmakers have planned to release the movie in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on August 15 and as of now the theatres have not started the pre-booking of the film. The film is currently under shooting and the movie will move into post-production in July after the reshoot is completed for few parts.
It is likely that there was delay in the progress of the film because of the long timeline of the film, editor Antony Ruben walked out from the film and his position was taken over by Naveen Nooli. Now, we just have to wait for the official confirmation from the filmmakers, the cast and crew if the film has been postponed for its release.
