Versatile actor Jagapati Babu has been roped in to play a pivotal role in Ashok Gala's debut. The 57-year-old will be joining the second schedule which is all set to kick-off from tomorrow (December 27).

In November, the debut film of Ashok Galla, the nephew of Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu, was launched in Hyderabad amid fanfare. While Rana Daggubati switched on the camera for the muhurat shot, Ram Charan gave the first clap for the film. Directed by Sriram Adittya whose films include Bhale Manchi Roju, Shamanthakamani, and DevaDas, the first schedule of the untitled project has already been wrapped up.

Meanwhile, according to confirmed reports, versatile actor Jagapati Babu has been roped in to play a pivotal role in the film. The 57-year-old will be joining the second schedule which is all set to kick-off from tomorrow (December 27).
While ‘iSmart Shankar’ fame Nidhhi Agerwal is romancing Ashok Galla in the latter’s debut, actors like Naresh, Satya, and Archana Soundarya will be seen in pivotal roles. While the music is composed by Ghibran, Richard Prasad will be in charge of the cinematography.
Bankrolled by Padmavathi Galla under Amara Raja Media & Entertainment, the title of the film is yet to be announced.
