Sekhar Kammula must be appreciated for breaking all stereotypical standards of beauty in Fidaa, says Sai Pallavi

If one has seen the Malayalam version of ‘Premam’, they can remember a dialogue that states how Malar, the character Sai Pallavi plays, is gorgeous despite the pimples on her face.
While there’s no such dialogue in ‘Fidaa’, the actress claims that filmmaker Sekhar Kammula must be appreciated for showing the audience how beautiful and confident girls can be, despite not matching the stereotypical beauty standards.
She says that gone are the days when people used to look down on women with pimples and that the movie has only changed that perception further. She even added that these women can be strong, confident and beautiful individuals if they shed their own apprehensions in the first place.
Sai Pallavi has wrapped up shooting for a film with Naga Shourya and is currently shooting for MCA opposite Nani.
