Abhishek Kumar, who gained widespread fame as the first runner-up of Bigg Boss 17, is reveling in his newfound success. His participation in the controversial reality show turned him into an overnight sensation. Currently, he is taking part in Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. Prior to leaving for the show, Abhishek shared in an exclusive interview with ETimes TV that he is saving money for the future.
While his parents wish for him to purchase a house in Mumbai, Abhishek revealed that he has entrepreneurial aspirations and plans to start a business.
Speaking about the same, Abhishek shared, "I am saving money and I have stopped wasting money. My family wants me to buy a home in Mumbai but I don’t want to purchase a home here. I feel Mumbai is a very expensive city and staying on rent here is a wise decision. There is no point in putting a huge amount into buying a house and then paying a huge EMI every month to the bank as a loan. I feel rather than this I want to invest money and get interest on my money. I have a friend who is an investment banker. He keeps telling me not to buy a house in Mumbai. He gives me the idea to invest and I try to make my father understand this but family always thinks differently they want me to buy a house."
The Udaariyaan actor further expressed his desire to invest in a business, specifically by establishing a production house, similar to what Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta have done. "In fact, I have asked them to buy a house in Chandigarh but not in Mumbai. I’ve a family there so at least they can stay there. Here I don’t think main Yahan sambhal paaungi. I am saving my money for my future. Kabhi kuch need aajaye, kuch banana ho, Mujhe kuch create karna ho, Mera mind producing Yaa production house kholne ke taraf bhi jaata hai. Like how Ravi bhai and Sargun ma’am have done, there’s a plan like that in my mind. Kya pata main YouTube par kuch shuru kar Doon or I invest in starting any other business," he concluded.
