Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann has responded to the incident involving a CISF constable slapping Kangana Ranaut. Mann indicated that Kulwinder Kaur's anger towards Kangana may have been fueled by the actor's remarks on the farmers' protest. He criticised Kangana for labeling Punjab as a 'terrorist' state, stating that such statements were incorrect and harmful. Mann emphasised Punjab's historical contributions and its vital role in agriculture. The CISF constable, now suspended, reportedly slapped Kangana at the Chandigarh airport on June 6. Kangana, in a video message, claimed she was assaulted during a security check at the airport. The Mohali Police have registered a case against the constable under IPC sections 323 and 341.
