Hours: 35 hours per week, Mon-Fri (9-5) – Client travel when required – Exhibition work as and when required, including weekends

The Position:

The International Account Manager has responsibility for international sales. This role is the primary point of contact for customers and will be responsible for finding opportunities to increase sales and nurture existing relationships; actively seeking out new customer or distributor opportunities and converting these into longer term profitable accounts to grow the Gibsons brand within the world.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility of all international B2B sales, meeting agreed KPIs and sales targets
  • Be responsible for nurturing and growing international customers. Establish strong connections and understanding with our customer base. This includes a detailed understanding of the customer’s sales history, their requirements including quality, logistical, packaging and factory requirements and terms of trading.
  • Accountability for providing accurate forecasting, working collaboratively with the operations department to ensure appropriate inventory levels to meet demand.
  • Travel to potential and existing customers within the assigned territory, to present the full range and build brand awareness.
  • Organise and represent Gibsons at domestic and international trade exhibitions and events
  • Actively seek out new customers, markets and territories, converting these into long term profitable customers.
  • Regularly report on sales data to sales manager, directors and other senior managers.
  • Where necessary, support the UK Sales team with domestic accounts.

Knowledge and experience:

  • Experience of working as an account manager in the games and gifts industry.
  • Tangible experience of delivering significant growth in revenue.
  • A strong record of building partnerships, with a proven ability to define mutually beneficial value propositions.
  • A thorough understanding of forecasting and how that relates to demand planning.
