What We Work On
Learn about Trinity’s priorities
At Trinity Church, we believe that every person is created in the image of God and that our faith requires us to use our gifts to care for them. We help build neighborhoods, expand institutional capacity, and promote change-making legislation through strategic and interlocking efforts: direct services programming at Trinity Church, grantmaking and gifts, and advocacy.
Our four priority areas of work advance equity and social justice, and Trinity community members can help advocate by signing up for our advocacy tool.

We provide volunteer opportunities to help our parishioners contribute, as well.
We promote Youth Well-Being and Education by providing a wide range of free youth programming and afterschool activities at Trinity Commons (76 Trinity Place) as well as through our grantmaking and partnerships, both in New York City and around the globe.
We work on issues of Housing & Homelessness through our grantmaking, partnerships, investments, and advocacy, working to remove barriers to and increasing the supply of affordable and supportive housing.
We address the needs of those suffering from Mental Health challenges through advocacy and grant-making to improve emergency response, treatment, and housing. We also offer programming at Trinity Commons to provide opportunities to find support through Christian spiritual practice, meditation, and conversations facilitated by trained professionals.
We promote Incarceration Reform and Re-entry through advocacy and grant-making that supports efforts to expand and improve reentry services, close Rikers Island, and ensure those held in city jails have access to voter education and can vote.
