Sidik Mia (4 March 1965 -12 January 2021) wakaŵa munthu wa bizinesi wa ku Malawi, wandale, ndipo wakaŵa Member of Parliament uyo wakaŵa na maudindo ghanandi mu boma la Malawi kufuma mu 2004, ndipo wakaŵa Minister of Transport and Public Works kufuma mu June 2020. Umoyo wake
Sidik Mia wakababika mu 1965 ku Chikwawa. Wakasambira masambiro gha Business Management. Wakati wamalizga, wakambiska mabizinesi ghanandi mu Malaŵi na kupanga gulu la ŵanthu ŵasambazi awo wakakhumbanga kuti nawo ŵambe kupeleka ndalama ku Democratic Progressive Party.
Dada wa Sidik Mia, Abdul Wahab Sidik Mia wakababikira ku Nsanje, Marka. Munthu uyu wakaŵa na mazaza ghakuru pa bizinesi ndipo wakaŵa na mazaza ghakuru pa ndyali ya Nyasaland ndipo pamanyuma pa Malawi (kanandi ku Lower Shire ndipo pamanyuma pa charu chose).

Sidik Mia wakasankhika kuŵa MP wa Chikwawa-Nkombedzi mu May 2004 mu chigaŵa cha Chikwawa ku Malawi ndipo wakasankhika kuŵa Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Food Security mu June 2004. Mu 2005 wakaŵa wachiŵiri kwa nduna ya migodi, vinthu vyakutowa na malo, wachiŵiri kwa nduna ya vya mayendedwe na ntchito za boma na nduna ya vya maji. Pamanyuma pa nyifwa ya pulezidenti Bingu wa Mutharika na kuwuskika kwa Joyce Banda, Sidik Mia pamoza na ŵanyake 18 ŵa Democratic Progressive Party ŵakapharazga kuti ŵakukhumba kukhozga Joyce Banda nga ni pulezidenti wa chalo.[5] Ivi vikacitika cifukwa ca suzgo ya dango la chalo iyo yikacitiska kuti National Governing Council ya Democratic Progress Party, iyo Mia nayo wakaŵa mulara, yikadandawura ku Khoti Likuru Chomene kuti Joyce Banda ngwakwenelera yayi kuŵa pulezidenti pamanyuma pa Mutharika.[6]
Mu Janyuwale 2014 Sidik Mia wakafumapo mu chipani cha People's Party (PP) ndipo wakalekaso kuŵa nduna ya vya mayendedwe. Wakanjira chipani cha Malawi Congress mu chaka cha 2017 ndipo wakazgoka mulongozgi wa chipani ichi, Lazarus Chakwera.[7]
