Chloe Sevigny set for 'Lovelace' Chloe Sevigny set for 'Lovelace'

Chloe Sevigny is joining the cast of biopic “Lovelace.” She’ll play a feminist journalist on assignment for a men’s magazine to find out who the real Linda Lovelace is.

Sevigny’s casting was announced Wednesday.

Addtionally, Demi Moore has ankled from the project to seek treatment for exhaustion. Moore had been tapped to portray Gloria Steinem and a replacement hasn’t yet been announced.

Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman are directing the pic, which stars Amanda Seyfried as Linda Boreman, aka “Deep Throat” star Linda Lovelace. Peter Sarsgaard and Sharon Stone co-star alongside Juno Temple, Wes Bentley, Hank Azaria, Bobby Cannavale, Chris Noth, Robert Patrick and James Franco.

“Lovelace” is a Millennium Films production that will be produced by Heidi Jo Markel for Eclectic Pictures, Laura Rister and Jason Weinberg for Untitled Entertainment and Jim Young for Animus Films. Exec producers include Boaz Davidson, Danny Dimbort, Mark Gill, W. Merritt Johnson, Avi Lerner, Trevor Short and John Thompson for Nu Image/Millennium Films.

Production on the Andy Bellin-scripted pic began Dec. 20 in Los Angeles, and the film is being made with the cooperation of Boreman’s estate.

Sevigny was announced recently as toplining with Mark Webber in Adam Bhala Lough‘s indie relationship drama “Panarea,” with production starting this summer.

Sevigny is repped by WME and Danny Sussman at Brillstein Entertainment Partners.
