• No data on Internet growth for the US since the disolution of the NSFnet backbone
• Current data available from the nation's exchange points is all different

Data File Format

Data should be mb/sec sampled every five minutes.

Tools should be available to do the following:

• Data collection
• Data aggregation
• Graphing

• flows by tcp port
• RS/RA stats

Conclusions from data

• correlate major change of route policy and differences in
• traffic between major exchanges
• compare and contrast increase of traffic in regional exchanges
• coorelate outages in a regional area just to see how they effect nationwide traffic levels
