When it comes to news, it doesn't get much bigger than this. Mario Tennis 64 introduces a new character to the Nintendo universe, and his arrival is about as welcomed as a big oily zit on prom night. His name is Waluigi, and the only person who's pleased to meet him is his big brother, Wario. Just like Mario is Wario's hated rival, Waluigi despises Luigi more than anything in the world.

Waluigi is the same age as Luigi, and his entire life he's been extremely jealous of Luigi's international fame and sucess in the video game industry. More cowardly than his brother Wario, Waluigi has been hiding all of these years, waiting for the perfect opportunity to ruin Luigi's career. With the arrival of Mario Tennis 64, it appears that Waluigi's big moment has finally arrived.
