Tutors and Reports

Based in Oxford, we draw on tutors whose academic expertise derives largely from the University. Many have taught with great distinction for us for a number of years. Others, recently graduated or engaged in long-term research, are called upon when there are students studying in their own specialist fields.

Whatever their background, our tutors combine the highest educational standards with an ability to communicate knowledge, a passion for their subject and an exceptional mastery of examination techniques.

Assessment, Reports & Examinations

The Academic Registrar is responsible for the supervision of studies and advice on academic matters. Having established an initial programme of study, the student will then see the Academic Registrar regularly, so that tutor reports can be discussed. These short reports are written after every tutorial and give details of the work done and record levels of effort and achievement.

We believe regular testing is important: timed essays and mock examinations are given at suitable times, especially in the weeks leading up to public examinations.
