By bus: route 460 departs hourly from the Paderborn main railway station.

The Wewelsburg District museum consists of the Historical Museum of the Paderborn bishopric in the Wewelsburg and the two contemporary history sections "Wewelsburg 1933 -1945. Site of SS ritual and terror" and "Germans in eastern Central Europe. Culture - expulsion - integration. Meseritz/Miedzyrzecz - Paderborn - Schwerin a.d.
