ELUVEITIE: 'Inis Mona' Video Available - Mar. 5, 2008
"Inis Mona", the new video from the Swiss folk metal band ELUVEITIE, can be viewed below. The track comes off the group's new album, "Slania", which was released on February 15 via Nuclear Blast Records. The follow-up to 2006's "Spirit" is "the perfection of the first album, but still there is enough room to give some new influences a chance," according to a press release. 'Expect nothing less than a masterpiece of hellish heavy folk metal with an 'x' factor!"

I like the music - but the vocals just take away from what might otherwise be a really cool experience.

But for the sake of pete how do you pronounce the name!

ELUVEITIE

E- love I Tie?

E loove ei tie?

E luve et tea?

I was trying to remember when I was in the store looking for a disc if its even there! but the name didnt come to me. Maybe if I rememberd how to pronounce it correctly!

you pronounce it

Elu-vet (as in you take your animal to the vet)-ti (as in the "t" sound")

Though I have heard the violinist say it with the "u" silent.

I watch this video at least once a day, and yes...

SPIRIT!

Youve probably heard it refered to as Elveti because they have a song with that word in it. Uis Elveti is probably one of their best songs, though I like the version from VĂȘn over the one from Spirit.

The name also means something like Helvetian in the Helvetian language and when they sing, a lot of the lyrics are sung in Gaulish

Sorry guys.
I just don't get this band at all.
They are trying a bit too hard to be differant.
The dude playing the bagpipes trying to look all mean.
Common, this is silly.
