Things to Know about S1 Japanese Adult Video Studio

Overview

S1 No.1 Style ー or “S1″ in short ー is currently the biggest JAV production company in Japan. S1 is a part of a larger group called Hokuto, and after S1 was founded in 2004, it rapidly became one of the “poster division” of Hokuto, along with Moodyz, which is another popular JAV production company within Hokuto.

S1 Girls

What distinguishes S1 from other JAV companies is that S1 exclusively deals with popular actresses. Maria Ozawa, Yuma Asami, Tina Yuzuki (currently called “Rio”), Akiho Yoshizawa, Meisa Hanai, … you name them. They are/were all S1 girls.

New actresses join S1 almost monthly, and after a certain period, those girls start to release their DVDs with other companies, so S1 is sort of acting as a “gateway to success.” The only girl who has exclusive contract with S1 from the start is Sora Aoi, one of the most recognized AV star in Japan (due partly to her TV appearance. S1’s GiriGiri Series

Not only they only produced videos of cute/beautiful girls, S1 introduced its usage of thin mosaic as “Giri-giri/Risky Mosaic,” which turned out to be a hugely successful series of S1. At that time, almost all adult videos censored public hair and anus and the mosaic used was extremely rough and usually hid more than necessary. In contrast, S1 advitised ー and continue to advertise ー their “semi-full-exposure”.

Other popular series of S1 include Fantasy Special Bath, Let’s Fuck in School, and Great Facial (a bukkake series). In general, S1 videos don’t contain too much “hard stuff” (anal sex, for example).
