October 03, 2008 - After a presumed electrical failure that rendered one of the system's superconducting magnets inoperable last month, the Large Hadron Collider has received a tentative restart date. The failure, which began during the massive particle collider's first beam, caused the magnet to heat beyond the required cooling range and forced the scientists to shut the system down. In the weeks that followed, it was determined that the system would have to undergo extensive maintenance that would delay the high-powered particle collision for which the system was built. The HDX is a new video format optimized for full 1080p high-definition internet content. While HD digitally distributed content is nothing new under the sun, HDX claims to boast the highest video quality of any service, including cable, satellite, or on-demand services.
