At-risk children in developing countries

Children are the forgotten casualties of poverty and war. Living on and off the streets in shantytowns, make-shift shelters and orphanages, discarded children in developing countries face a dire present and a bleak future. The David Lynch Foundation’s outreach to at-risk children in developing countries includes successful programs in Catholic orphanages in Colombia, Muslim schools in violence-torn Bethlehem and the West Bank in Israel, as well as public schools and community centers in Brazil, Peru, Bolivia, Vietnam, Nepal, Ghana, Kenya, and Uganda.
