We read this Perez Hilton post a dozen times to make sure we weren’t missing anything.
“The beautiful Sandra Bullock was leaving her West Village apartment in NYC on Friday as she prepares for her next film, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close,” writes the blogger.
So far so good.
“The movie also stars Tom Hanks and is based on the book ‘Moneyball and True Grit.’”
Um.
Hmm.
Let’s look at that again.
A few things:
There is a book called “Moneyball” that is being made into a movie called Moneyball, starring Brad Pitt.
It is about baseball.
There is a book called “True Grit” that is being made into a movie called True Grit, starring Jeff Bridges and Matt Damon.
It is a Western.
Sandra Bullock and Tom Hanks are rumored to be developing a movie called Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close.
It is based on a book called — wait for it — “Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close.”
It is about a nine-year-old whose father was killed on September 11.
Meanwhile, there is no book called “Moneyball and True Grit,” because that would be weird.
Once again, Perez astounds.
