The Heat/Cavaliers NBA game on TNT’s 3.2 adults 18-49 rating topped all of cable and much of broadcast on Thursday night.
The Eagles/Texans NFL Network game scored a 2.2 adults 18-49 rating (that does not include the viewing on the local broadcast affiliates in the Philadelphia and Houston markets).
But take into account that the NFL Network is only in about 57 million households vs. TNT’s 100 million.
Burn Notice kept slipping, down another tenth vs. 2 weeks ago to a 1.2 adults 18-49 rating. This fall/winter run has not been its ratings friend.

Yeah, this week, Psych beat Burn Notice in the demo. When was the last time THAT happened if ever?
Too bad. It was a great episode. Probably the best of the season.
First time the RHBH crosses the 2 million mark. Bravo must be happy with it’s numbers, DC continually fell every week in its first season and BH is doing the opposite.
Yea that is strange to see Psych beat BN in the demo. I have the episode on my DVR but I’m going to watch it later.
highest ratings yet for housewives of beverly hills. i bet this means a second season, but no second chance for housewives of d.c.
When you say cincinnati and ny don’t you mean houston and philadelphia?
BN should do non-Summer run in March April when not competing against NFL.
ratingsobsessed, Indeed I do. That was a bad copy and paste. Fixed.
The NBA beat the NFL!!
Trey:
Not in homes that get both TNT & NFLN.
Wow the BH Housewives went way up in ratings, right?
why did my comment get deleted?
TNA: Impact! went down a bit this week. It’ll probably be a 1.2 next week.
Does anybody know if Tge League has any chance for a 3rd season? I feel like FX might not since the are putting the season finale on at 11, instead of it’s usual time. Are the ratings good enough for FX?
Twin Peaks really helped Psych out! U would have thought Burn Notice would have at least went up to a 1.4. I guess USA shouldve waited until Jan/Feb to do a winter run.
BTW how was Burn Notice doing in January?
@Jose Rios,
Deleted or never posted? Robert and Bill rarely moderate comments, but they’ve had trouble with comments randomly getting caught by the spam filter.
The Real Housewives of BH went way up and the seasons already half way over…congrats bravo!!..but the ATL and NJ franchises are way up in ratings compared to BH..and DC was just horrible..does anyone know if DC is even getting a second season???..
Psych’s ratings this week can entirely be attributed to the lasting strength of “Twin Peaks”! Yeah, I know those are the delusional words of a fanboy, but I can still dream of a continuation at some point, even though I know it’s never going to happen. I had honestly never watched “Psych” before this week and I’m sure there’s more than a few “Twin Peaks” fans where that’s the case as well.
I’ve stopped watching Burn Notice since the writing seems very poor and Jesse seems to get all the screen time. And I have watched since the series premiere, too bad the writers don’t care about what the viewers want! It used to be such a good show. Psych on the other hand is still decent at least.
Just one question to Bill & Robert:Why media are still counting the total viewers when the only matter are:the key demos among (18-49)?.
I didn’t realized how great was the ratings for Psych until i saw the ratings for the popular Burn Notice:3,6 vs 3,5 million viewers for Burn Notice, however in key demos (18.49),won Psych:1,3 vs 1,2.Go for it Psych!!!
