What, no Shutter Island??? Just who’s in charge of this prison?
@fromMarkHall – GET A CLUE, Shutter Island was 2 years ago! The above list is for films released in 2010. Again – GET A CLUE! Or have you been living under a rock in a prison somewhere in the Middle East??? D U H !!!
Burlesque should win for contemporary, King’s Speech for period, and Alice in Wonderland for fantasy.
Contemporary Film has to be between Black Swan & Burlesque
Period Film between The King’s Speech & True Grit
Fantasy Film is the hardest, but I would say a race between Alica and Tron.
I would vote Burlesque, True Grit and Tron
I never really thought of The Fighter as a period film.
I think that if it takes place in the past, it is considered a period film (The Fighter took place in the 90′s).
What about “I Am Love?”
