The return of USA’s Burn Notice tied History’s Swamp People in cable originals on Thursday night with a 1.7 adults 18-49 rating.
Suits debuted well to a 1.6 adults 18-49 rating and 4.636 million viewers. Despite a middling draft class, the NBA Draft still pulled a 1.5 rating on ESPN, its best ratings since 2007.
FX’s Wilfred debuted as the highest-rated comedy premiere ever for FX with a 1.2 adults 18-49 rating and 2.553 million viewers. Louie returned up scoring a 0.8 adults 18-49 rating and 1.569 million viewers.
Comedy Central’s Futurama returned to a 1.1 adults 18-49 rating for each of its half hour episodes.
Real Housewives of NYC was steady vs. last week to a 0.9 adults 18-49 rating.
We only receive the top 100 cable shows for adults 25-54 for the whole day from our source. If you don’t see an original episode of a show here, it’s because it wasn’t in the top 100. I attempt to filter out repeats, kids shows, and most non-primetime shows. Also, to limit the size of the list, I list only the top rated airing of each individual show. Will add extras that @TravisYanan reports later below.

Is 1.1 good for Futurama? It got around that last year didn’t it? And that was presumably enough for a 2 season renewal (or one whichever way you count it).
Wow, great news for the FX hour.
FX should put Futurama on in an earlier timeslot. I think it’ll get better ratings at an earlier hour. I really wish they would put it on Sundays at the same time as The Cleveland show airs. Talk about a showdown.

Saw both Wilfred & Louie, and FX really had a great strategy in putting Wilfred first, because if it wasn’t, I wouldn’t have tuned into Louie. I’m glad I did though, the show is fantastic! One episode and I’m hooked. Definitely pushing for Louis C.K. to get an Emmy nomination this year.
Yeah, Iove Louie! Just started watching it online earlier this week. Finished watching the first season yesterday, and watched the premiere online this morning. LOL it is so funny!
Delighted to see Wilfred do so well, i was a big fan of the aussie version.
Louie is up quite a bit, isn’t it?
Also, those seem to be pretty high numbers for adult swim with Childrens Hospital? I imagined it has dismal ratings…
Go futurama!!!! This Summer season is, so far, way better than last year’s.
The NBA is killing this past season in every area.
How about CSI: NY at 11pm? I doubt it got lower than 1million viewers but did you left it out or it wasn’t in the top 25-49?
Well done, Burn Notice and Suits! Glad to see Suits was getting a lot of view, since it turned out to be quite good, if a little uneven. Like many USA shows, well-acted, well-produced, nicely written. For me, it was sooo much better than F&B, which seems clunky and clownish by comparison. But maybe it’s a gender thing.
USA rules again – Tuesday, Thursday, and so on as premiers occur.
WILFRED wasn’t really funny until the last few minutes. It’s weird but I’ll give it another shot next week.
Thanks to Wilfred, I’ve just discovered Louie! Got the series on my DVR queue and hoping to have a Louie Netflix weekend!! Glad Wilfred did well. The premise looked absurd, but turned out to be twisted in a good way.
@chrisjozo: What? FX doesn’t air Futurama, Comedy Central does.
Loved Wilfred and of course love Louie his FX show has been dynamite just not sure how his ratings aren’t higher as popular as he is now, he must be a top 5 living stand-up comedian.
Love both Louie and Wilfred.
1.1 and 2 1/2 mill is very good for futurama… last year’s finale not counting the xmas episode did .9 and 1.7… other than the preem last year this was on par or better than last seasons eps. if it hold up to this level next week then it’s terrific
I’m not sure about Wilfred because its content could change past the first episode, but you can’t put Louie before 10pm because of its content.
