USA’s Burn Notice fell 0.4 with adults 18-49 from its premiere last week to a 1.3 rating, and Suits also slumped 0.4 to a 1.2 adults 18-49 rating. The broadcast networks were all down ahead of the holiday weekend too, so that’s not a big surprise. Perhaps it is more surprising that History’s Swamp People did not suffer a pre-holiday slump and averaged a 1.7 with adults 18-49, same as last week.
FX’s Wilfred was down 20% from its premiere to a 1.0 adults 18-49 rating, though with combined telecasts FX reports it was only down 8% versus last week with adults 18-49. Louie dropped a tenth from its premiere to a 0.7 adults 18-49 rating.
Comedy Central’s Futurama was down two-tenths to a 0.9 adults 18-49 rating. Real Housewives of NYC was also down a tenth vs. last week to a 0.9 adults 18-49 rating.
We only receive the top 100 cable shows for adults 25-54 for the whole day from our source. If you don’t see an original episode of a show here, it’s because it wasn’t in the top 100. I attempt to filter out repeats, kids shows, and most non-primetime shows. Also, to limit the size of the list, I list only the top rated airing of each individual show. Will add extras that @TravisYanan reports later below.

If we see additional ratings from @TravisYanan, I will post them below.

Also, Family Guy repeats on Adult Swim aren’t affected by the holiday either.
Swamp people is unstoppable.
Louie is the best show on TV! It’s still doing better than it was doing last year, so I predict it will be renewed for a third season!
Futurama is still good too.
Also the rare Conan appearance in this list!
Futurama holds up well.
I would’ve thought The Colbert Report would have gotten a bigger bump because of the start of his SuperPac. It was big news on other networks >.<
Thanks for the Bones’ ratings Robert! Looks like The Mentalist is on par with Bones, which TNT seems to air to death otherwise they wouldn’t flog Bones. However, those numbers are still lower than what both SVU and NCIS do for USA.
Also forgot to mention how poorly Ugly Americans did last night!! It got the cushy South Park lead-in for it’s freshman season and it looks like people haven’t come back!
The Daily Show and Colbert weren’t affected by the ‘pre-holiday’ slump either!!
Family Guy is a cash cow for 20th Century and the stations! It rates on cable syndication and local syndication!
Why is your website red now?
Some people missed a great Burn Notice…I predict another Emmy monination for Sharon Gless.
Suits is doing well glad to see it doing good
Was maybe the best Burn Notice episode ever too.
do the re arrings count? just a question i would like to know
@Christopher,
Count how?
The network keeps track of re-airings (and unique viewers for those as opposed to repeat viewers) and the advertisers pay to air commercials during them (I’m guessing not as much as the original airing though), but unless they are exceptionally high, I don’t think they make much difference to how happy the net is with the show.
@Christopher: every opportunity to sell ads “counts.”
If what you mean is “do they count as far as a show’s renewal prospects?” then the answer is probably not, i.e., if a show has great ratings in its premiere telecast, how good or bad the encores do won’t mean much to its renewal. same thing for shows that have awful ratings in the initial telecasts,
@ christopher @ holly actually the repeats do count, at least the first, and maybe sometimes the second, too. most cable nets sell a “cum” rating – a combined rating of the premiere and first repeat – at the highest rate, then charge less for repeats after that. so yeah, the first repeat almost certainly counts, although most people pay attention to the initial live same day rating as opposed to the cum.
Yay CSI NY is here! Thanks Robert!
You go Impact Wrestling with your bad self.
CSI: NY ratings finally! Its doing pretty well on TNT no wonder they air it so much late at night.
I wonder if it was more than backward holiday radiation causing the ratings dive for Burn Notice and especially Suits. After all, Swamp People held steady.
I’m also compelled to ask why the background has turned to red. Not only does it clash w/ the blue logo, it’s a b_tch to look at. (seriously, my eyes want out of their sockets after five minutes of staring. Granted, I’ve also been staring at MI-5 on Netflix since 1:30, but it really flares up on here)
Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised by this week’s Burn Notice. Jeffrey Donovan and Sharon Gless did some great work.
Also very happy to see Conan on this list! (AND ahead of Chelsea Lately..even if it’s just for tonight) Tom Hanks is always fun when he comes on as a guest.
