Antonio Di Natale awarded Best Italian Player 2009/2010

I dedicate this important award to my wife, my children and to Pozzo family

Antonio Tot Di Natale is the best Italian player of the season 2009/2010. Udineses captain. The symbol of Udinese F.C. who breaks all records, beloved by all Friuli, has been awarded last night at Milans Auditorium during the Football Oscars 2010, as Best Italian Player for the past season.
Elected with the votes of his own colleagues, collected during the Serie A summer training camps, he has arrived where no one else before with our shirt had. Indeed, so far, no Udineses player had ever been awarded MVP of the championship. Tot made it, though, captain of the Udinese which he brought to salvation,last year, with 29 goals.
It is a great satisfaction said the captain -. It is an important award which I dedicate to my wife, my children and to Pozzo family.
Last night has been unforgettable for Di Natale who has brought home also the Fair Play award for interrupting a potentially dangerous action two minutes before the end of Lazio-Udinese, last 19th December, with Lazios Kozak on the ground and Udinese losing 3-2 and the trophy for the top goalscorer 2009/2010 inherited straight from Diego Militos hands (see picture).
To the tune of Invincible by Tinie Tempah, Tot has made everyone understand why this Region loves him and has adopted him like a son. My most beautiful goal he said was the one for Udineses salvation. I would like to score the 100th with this shirt on Sunday, in Turin, against Juve. Last summer I said no to Madama because in soccer is not all about money, feeling fine is more important. My family and I feel divinely in Udine. Chapeau Tot. Thanks for all. From our hearts.
