NOW AVAILABLE - Online submission: Articles for publication in the Journal of Adhesion Science and Technology can be submitted online through Editorial Manager, please click here.
The Journal of Adhesion Science and Technology provides a forum for the basic aspects, theories and mechanisms of adhesion and deals with applications of adhesion principles in all areas of technology. Issues contain original articles, reviews and short communications in the following areas: theories of adhesion; surface energetics; fracture mechanics; development and applications of surface-sensitive methods to study adhesion phenomena; nondestructive methods for bond failure studies; techniques for the measurement of adhesion of thin films, thick films and coatings; surface modification of polymers to improve their adhesion; mechanisms and studies of coupling agents; adhesive joints, wood bonding and adhesion aspects of composite materials; biomedical materials; structural adhesives; paint and coatings (e.g. in relation to corrosion control); adhesion aspects in microelectronics; adhesion of lithographic materials; metallized plastics; rubber and elastomer adhesion; adhesion of aerospace materials.
Thomson Scientific’s Journal Citations Report for 2010 ranks the Journal of Adhesion Science and Technology with an Impact Factor of 0.980.
Members of the (Chinese, French, German, Japan, Korean, and UK) Adhesion Society can subscribe to the 2011 Volume of the Journal of Adhesion Science and Technology at the special individual e-only member subscription rate of EUR 115 / US$ 156.
