3DS GBA Ambassador Games Now Available

Nintendo has made available the ten free GBA titles originally promised for 3DS early adopters. This includes everyone who connected to the Nintendo eShop before August 12, 2011. Nintendo says it has no plans to offer these games for purchase on the store.

The ten games available are:

  1. Metroid Fusion
  2. The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap
  3. Wario Land 4
  4. WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$
  5. Mario vs. Donkey Kong,
  6. Mario Kart: Super Circuit
  7. Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3
  8. Kirby & The Amazing Mirror
  9. F-Zero: Maximum Velocity
  10. Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones

To download the games, simply go to the eShop, go all the way to the left and hit "Settings/Other," then tap "Your Downloads." All 10 games should appear in the list. You just have to hit "Redownload."

    That's an amazing lineup. I'm really looking forward to trying out Fire Emblem and Yoshi's Island.

    The price drop was what- 80 dollars? Unless you already own them all (and I'm pretty certain the majority of 3DS owners don't), I don't see how anyone can say those AND the 10 NES games aren't worth 80 dollars.

    Metroid Fusion is worth it alone. In fact, it's the only handheld game to receive a ten from GameInformer. That game completely deserves it. I traded my DSiXL so I'm okay with any price drop considering I paid $20 less than what it is now. Free games yay~

    I kinda wish that we got the other Fire Emblem game that was localized here since I've already played Sacred Stones, but I'm not complaining. These are all awesome games. I'll just pick Erika's story this time around.

    Aw c'mon. This is only good for early 3Ds buyers. Nintendo give a guy a break. It orignally cost $200!! Not that many people even bought it. Nintendo should offer this to any current or incoming 3Ds.

    @!#$%, I've already started a Minish Cap playthrough.

    Again, useless because I own almost all those games for a better system than the 3DS, no less. Waste of cash.

    Ugh, why the hell can't new users *BUY* these games? I would *LOVE* to add Metroid Fusion or Yoshi's Island to my library, especially as I've never played Metroid Fusion...

    Man, I just started Minish Cap on the GBA a little while ago. Now I can play it on the 3DS! I think I tried Fire Emblem once as a child, went "What the duck is this?" and went back to Mario. Glad to see I can give it another try.
