Liquor Review Notes:
Barenjager liqueur is translated loosely as "bear trap" liqueur, which becomes clear enough when you think of a honey-based liqueur. The liqueur supposedly hearkens back to the 15th century medieval era of German bear trappers.

Wow! Nice to stumble about something special. This is a must have for creative cocktail mixing. A vodka based, spicy honey sweetener. Great as straight-up sipper or shot too and Barenjager sour with a squeeze of lemon and lots of ice is plain... Wow! (Here we go again)
Spicy honeyed notes with pleasant cinnamon, cloves, allspice, cardamom, gentian and or baerwurz notes. Very thick entry with sweetness and fair amount of spice slight tail of aromatic bitter with lingering finish/aftertaste with mild alcohol presence.
