Angola: Govt Aware of Immigrants' Presence in Diamond Areas

Luanda — The Angolan government is aware of the problem of illegal immigrants' presence in Diamond regions.

This was said to Angop on Friday in Luanda by the minister of Geology and Mining, Francisco Queiróz, at the end of an audience King of Baixa de Cassange, Dianhenga Aspirante Mjinji Kulaxingo.

He said that to resolve this situation, the government has been preparing a programme that will certainly end up with a solution of this problem.

On his turn, King Dianhenga Kulanxingo said that he informed the minister that illegal immigrants continue enter the national territory through Baixa de Cassange and called for greater attention by the government to this situation.

"We came to call for the government to pay greater attention in order to avoid that the

foreigners continue to enter the country illegally", said the King.

Baixa de Cassange is parto f the national territory with 80.000 km, distributed among the

provinces of Malanje, Lunda Norte and Lunda Sul, diamond producing localities.
