  2. moshane58

Hawaii five 0 is a great show. Hope the ratings keep going higher…

  3. AllOfHerTw!st

    Woo hoo! Go H50!

However, LMS needs to get it in gear.

Sleepy Hollow seems to repeat fairly well, or at least better than what I remember The Following getting in that slot.

SSTW repeated very well, especially considering its initial ratings.

  4. Mike

    H50 YES

  5. Crystal

Happy to see Hawaii Five -0 adjust up even though I wasn’t particularly fond of the episode.

  6. CrimTV

Wow Hawaii Five-0 is as steady as a rock

  7. lakersupbyten

Could not be happier how much of a failure The Neighbors move to Fridays was.

You all better enjoy the cheering for 5-0 now since their only competition has been Shark Tank and Shark Tank has beaten them in the demo easily.

Wait until Grimm comes back. And I did some looking around. Fox is going to begin their shows in late fall and this is what I found out.

Fox is going to put up 2 comedies in the late fall against
H50. One is returning called “Raising Hope” and averaged a 1.6/1.7 demo
and around 3 1/2-4 million viewers. But keep in mind. Last season that
show was on Tuesday night and was up against NCIS; the #1 drama on TV
for years now. That is doing pretty well considering the competition.

Also, the other half hour of comedy will be a new show called “Enlisted.”

Comedies are pretty popular and if Raising Hope got almost 4 million and
a demo of 1.6/1.7 (better than H50 gets now, which is 1.4/1.5) against
NCIS that could mean trouble for H50.

    Then you bring in Grimm———-

So cheer while you can. It won’t last long.

As long as five o is the top demo on CBS….it will flourish.

Wow H50 is doing way better than I expected. I think Grimm will hurt it a bit but this is still a very solid start of the season, I don’t think many anticipated this, I certainly didn’t. Very happy for it, I am a fan of the show. Also, Tom Shaw is just being arrogant for not putting it at least on the bubble.

  12. John A

CBS have to be happy with H5O. Its stable and grew from UB. I thought by now it would be at 1.1-1.2 levels.

  13. Ram510

Looks like H50 may survive on Fridays. It’s just the good news CBS needs now that CSI NY is gone

  14. Rita

    Well done H50

  15. GregP

Given how “well” NBC has done repeating their comedies, It would be interesting to see them move their whole sitcom block to 9-11 on Fridays after Dateline and seeing if they could get a 1.3-1.4 there.
Then put Grimm/ Dracula on Wed and SVU/ Biggest Loser to Thurs.

    Counter programming all the way!

  16. Ivy

    HF0–way to go!

  17. Austin

H50 isn’t getting cancelled!!! With The Good Wife/The Mentalist ratings, it will be renewed.

  18. kari

    HaHa
Yes, celebrate the “fantastic” H50 numbers while u can.
Soon Grimm will be back. And later FOX regular programming.
Last seasons H50 fans kept saying 10 pm shows always got weaker numbers and now they consider a 0.1 demo difference with BB a win.
The moment H50 gets competition, it will crash, same as last season with RVN.
And why DVR numbers are u talking about?? A 2.4 ?? Yes, great number. LMAO

  19. THE OLD MAN

WELL I’LL JOIN THE GLEE CLUB WHILE I CAN!

    GO 5-0!

  20. Randy

As long as five o is the top demo on CBS….it will flourish.
    ——————————————————–

First of all, it won’t be when it actually has competition against it, which hasn’t happened yet. No Grimm or the Fox shows yet.

    And as also stated here on this site;
Cancellations come from not really who wins in the time slot but where shows fall within the same network.

So, if H50?s demo goes down much lower, for example, and The Good Wife and/or The Mentalist do better, that will mean more because they are ranked on CBS. That is why the cancel/renew link here is the most important. It is the shows within a network that fight for survival , not with shows from other networks.

I would be VERY SURPRISED if when Grimm and those comedies come into play against H50 that H50 doesn’t tank in the demo.
If it tanks far enough, that would spell its end.
To me it is obvious that H50 needs to rake in a much higher demo rate before the REAL competition kicks in.

And with the show tanking on TNT I don’t know how long syndication will help it out.

International sales mean nothing to its survival either. It is the USA numbers that count. The DVR cheering and the international sales cheering fall under fan excuse bingo:
