What is the admission and how long is a tour?
One can tour the five room home in less than an hour.
Admission is $ 5 for adults
$3 for seniors and children
Free for children under 6 years of age.
Is the Museum family friendly?
Absolutely! Since Susan B Anthony lived in the home as a child, it is particularly interesting for children.

- What injustices as a child did she encounter that may have shaped her future activism in human rights?
- How did she bathe? (Encourage your children to try out a primitive bathing tub on display.)
On display is a handcrafted rag doll that may have been like the one Susan spoke about in her biography. It was designed and created by a local vintage textile artist, using mid 19th century fabrics.
Who owns the Birthplace?
The Birthplace is privately owned. It is managed by The Susan B. Anthony Birthplace Museum,
a non-profit corporation, whose Board of Directors are approved by Feminists Choosing Life.
How were the exhibits created?
The exhibits were written and reviewed by a Board of Historical Advisors.
They were designed by graphic artists and produced by the Berkshire area company Graphitek. Local craftsmen assisted with the installation process.
What was the cost of restoring the Birthplace site and creating the exhibits?
Renovating the Birthplace and creation of the Museum took 3 ½ years and cost approximately
1.1 million dollars.
