Peter Mark Andrew Philips

The eldest child of The Princess Royal and Captain Mark Phillips, Peter Phillips, born 15 November 1977, is The Queen's eldest grandchild, and eleventh in line to the throne.

Peter Philips holds no royal title or style and is the first legitimate grandchild of a monarch to be born a commoner.

He was educated at Port Regis Prep School in Dorset and, following family tradition, Gordonstoun in Scotland. He played rugby for the Scottish Schools team while at Gordonstoun. He went on to the University of Exeter, where he graduated with a degree in sports science.

After graduating, he worked at Jaguar as a corporate hospitality manager and for the Williams F1 racing team. Since 2005, he has worked for the Royal Bank of Scotland.

Phillips has kept well out of the public eye, and his private life has not been widely publicised. He met his future wife, Autumn Kelly, who is a Canadian management consultant, in 2003 at the Montreal Grand Prix, and they were engaged in July 2007.

Autumn Kelly, a Catholic, converted to Anglicanism before the marriage, ensuring that Peter Philips did not lose his place in the line of succession. The couple was married at St George's Chapel, Windsor, on 17 May 2008.

The couple currently live in Hong Kong. Their first child, a daughter named Savannah, awas born on 29 December 2010 at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.?She was a daughter, named Savannah. On Saturday, 23 April, Queen Elizabeth II was present for Savannah Phillips's baptism which took place at Holy Cross Church in Avening, Gloucestershire, It was announced in October 2011, that the couple are expecting their second child in March 2012.
