Inverness 'happiest place in Scotland'
Inverness is the happiest place in Scotland and the second happiest in the UK, according to a survey by a property website.
Falkirk was second happiest in Scotland and came fifth in the UK top 10.
Harrogate in North Yorkshire came top of the survey by Rightmove. East London was the poll's least happy location.
The survey of almost 50,000 people asked if they were proud of their home and how friendly their neighbours were.
Other questions asked respondents how satisfied they were with the decor of their homes and how safe their community was.
The results have been released in the week of Inverness' annual Happyness Comedy Festival. The guests include Jason Byrne and Sean Hughes.
