Salt Iodization: Now Accepting Technical Proposals in Pakistan

Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) and International Council for Control of Iodine Deficiency Diseases Global Network (ICCIDD GN) are collaborating to establish Quality Management Systems (QMS) in salt companies and in Food Control Authorities in selected countries.

In Pakistan, GAIN and ICCIDD GN will support a selected number of salt companies mainly in major salt producing areas of Pakistan with PSQCA and the Punjab Food Authority to introduce their customized QMS.

GAIN is soliciting interests of experienced experts and/or institutions to engage with these stakeholders for gap assessments of their systemic capacity, assistance in drafting specific QMS and delivery of training of stakeholders’ staff.

The successful applicant will be contracted by GAIN Geneva. GAIN and ICCIDD GN will support the successful applicant with inception training on the detailed aspects of these assignments.
