OUR MISSION

VAW-123 executes commander's intent by providing on-scene, carrier airborne command and control of joint and combined forces in the battle space.

OUR VALUES

Squadron - We take care of our resources. We hold each other accountable for our actions, we are flexible and execute our mission with integrity.

Shipmates - We take care of our fellow SCREWTOPS. We look out for each other and maintain a path that supports our core values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment.

Self - We take care of our family and our own personal well-being. Asking for help is a sign of strength, we are all in this together.

The SCREWTOP family has an amazing legacy. Over the course of the last 47 years, the "SCREWTOP" name has become synonymous with tactical excellence. Few symbols in Naval Aviation are as recognizable as the "all-seeing eye" and the "dome swirl". We uphold the high standards that have become the hallmark of this warfighting unit by hitting the numbers safely the first time, every time. No shortcuts! No exceptions!
