Regional Organisations
Local Government in SA is well organised in regional groups. There are six primary regional organisations in country SA (these can be seen coloured differently on the Council Maps page) and the LGA Metropolitan Group. The six country regions work together as an LGA group called the SA Regional Organisations of Councils (SAROC). In addition there are other groups which meet around common geographic interests.
