Style of Location

The location dictates elements of style and sets the tone of the wedding. The bride and groom should choose a theme that fits the venue's surroundings and style.

Consistency is important. If a country wedding is decided upon, for example, then all elements of the day must be considered in this light, from beginning to end.

A city wedding usually requires more sophistication than a rural setting; this may be reflected in a more modern choice of flowers or transport.

A marquee in a country garden may require a more rustic and 'homemade' touch. Such weddings usually demand a high level of creativity and involvement from the bride and groom.

A hotel wedding usually creates a level of formality and luxury. They can take on a different atmosphere if guests are also staying at the venue, and the bride and groom must be prepared to socialise with guests.
