Es Devlin, OBE

Stage Designer

Es Devlin is a multi-award-winning international stage designer and creative music director whose biggest work to date probably remains the London 2012 Olympic Closing Ceremony. While still at school, Devlin studied at the Royal Academy of Music from the age of 12 as a junior exhibitioner, and went on to study at Bristol University and Central St Martins. After a theatre design course she went on to design sets for all manner of projects, from opera, ballet and theatre to sport and fashion, and has even collaborated with Kanye West. Devlin is currently designing the Opening Ceremony of the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
