Abi Comber

Head of Marketing, British Airways

Abi Comber is the head of brands and marketing for British Airways, meaning she holds ultimate responsibility for all of BA’s global brand and marketing activities. Comber began her career at BA Holidays in 1992 and has held numerous senior roles within the company’s marketing department since 2002. As a partner of the London 2012 Olympic Games, Team GB and Paralympics GB, British Airways has spent the last couple of years building on the extraordinary energy generated in 2012, and in 2014 it topped the consumer Superbrands list for the first time. Her innovative, digitally-centred approach is set to take BA flying ahead in the next year, with the company investing in, among other things, new aircraft. Comber was nominated for Marketing Leader of the Year at the 2014 Marketing Society Awards.
