Robert De Niro's new rental apartment isn't just in the most expensive building in New York, but it's also one of the priciest units at $125,000 a month, the New York Post reports. The legendary actor and his wife rented the combined 35A and 35B units at 15 Central Park West, and 35B was previously occupied by disgraced Yankees star Alex Rodriguez before the apartments were joined.

In 2012, a fire started in the laundry room of the De Niros' Upper West Side triplex and quickly spread, which has required a gut renovation. It is reported that the De Niros awill rent the apartment until renovations are complete. Or, if they decide to stay in their new place, it's on the market for $65 million, down from its original $95 million listing in 2012. Celebrity neighbors at the "Limestone Jesus," as the building is known, include Denzel Washington, Bob Costas and Sting.
