A Swedish woman who gave birth to a baby boy using a transplanted womb has spoken about the breakthrough procedure.

The 36-year-old mother, who was born without a uterus, received a donated womb from a friend who was in her 60s.

The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, says she hopes the treatment will be refined to help others in the future.
