Kondavalasa Lakshmana Rao who got into fame with the screen name Kondavalasa left his last breath today. The actor worked in many movies as a comedian from past few years.
69 Year old Kondavalasa was suffering from some health problems from quiet some time now. He was admitted to NIMS, Hyderabad when his condition got serious. On November 2nd, 2015 he died in the hospital as death defeated him.
Born on August 10th, 1946, Kondavalasa is from Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh. He was a drama artist before coming into the movies. He performed in many stage shows. According to a report, he worked on over 1000 drama shows.
Director Vamsi was searching for comedians for his movie Aunu Valliddaru Istapaddaru in 2002. He noticed Kondavalasa in one of the dramas and picked him up for a role.
Kondavalasa stole everyone’s hearts with a victim husband whose wife tortures him and dominates him through out the movie. His famous dialogue “Aithe Ok” got very popular that general people also started using it after the movie released.
After that, there was no looking back and he got good offers from the industry as a comedian. He appeared in almost all Vamsi movies after that and also got chances to work with stars like Ravi Teja, Jagapathi Babu, Srikanth and many more.
Some of his hit movies are Dongaramudu and party, Simhadri, Sathyam,Evadi Gola Vadide, Kanchana Mala Cable TV, Rakhi, Sainikudu and many more. His last work in films was the 2014 movie Sri Vasavi Kanyaka Parameswari Charitra.
