Edwin Keh

Edwin Keh is the go-to guy for futuristic textile technologies. In his role as CEO of the Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles and Apparel he helps leading garment producers use innovative technologies to improve the quality, protectiveness and comfort of their clothes. Prior to this, Keh held senior management roles in procurement in the consumer and retail industries including as senior vice-president and chief operating officer of Wal-Mart Global Procurement and managing director of Payless Shoesource International, Donna Karan International and Country Road Australia. Recognised for his contributions to the field of supply chain management, he was the 2011 recipient of the Production and Operations Management Society’s Excellence in Practice Award. Prior to graduate school, Keh worked for the United Nations High Commission for Refugees as an editor and resettlement lobbyist.
