How about the fantastic weather we saw Sunday! Clouds, showers and t-storms retreated to our south as a cold front also tracked to our south. High pressure to the northwest has brought a northerly wind making for comfortable temps and humidity values. Skies will be mostly clear early on overnight but eventually the clouds fill back in. Computer models continue to trend more towards a cloudy, cooler, and perhaps somewhat wet scenario for Monday and Tuesday. With high pressure to the north and the front to our south lifting slowly back to the north, an east breeze sets up. This will lead to cloudy skies with scattered showers. This will also make for much cooler temps, especially Monday. By the mid and late week, winds shift out of the south and southwest as high pressure moves off the coast. This will lead to more sunshine, warmer temps, and higher humidity values. A ridge of high pressure aloft looks to keep us mostly dry for Wednesday and Thursday but a cold front slowly approaching from the west will start to increase scattered PM storm chances Friday through the weekend. Right now it looks like next Sunday would feature the highest probability for storms as the front actually crosses the region.

Overnight: Clear early, becoming mostly cloudy late, slight chance for a shower towards dawn, some patchy fog, lows 63-68. Monday: Early morning fog, cloudy and cooler, slight chance for showers, highs 72-79. Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with a chance for showers, highs 78-82. Wednesday: Partly sunny, warmer and more humid, isolated PM storm possible, highs 84-88. Thursday: Sun and clouds, isolated PM storm possible, warm/humid, highs 86-90. Friday: Sun and clouds, hot/humid, few PM storms, highs 87-91. Saturday: Partly sunny, hot/humid, scattered PM storms, highs 88-92. Sunday: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers and storms, cooler, highs 82-86.
