Russia dominates 2015 World Grappling Championship for Cadets, Juniors and Veterans
Moscow (21-22 August) - Without much surprise, Russia dominates the 2015 World Grappling Championship for Cadets, Juniors and Veterans alongside with the International Tournament for Schoolboy and Novice.
200 competitors from 10 different countries displayed great technique in this tournament, hosted for the second time in the russian Capital.
For the first time a Team from India attended the events, conquering and impressive 2nd place in Team Ranking both in Grappling No-Gi and in Grappling Gi.
1st place went to Russia in both styles, while 3rd place went to Kazaksthan for No-Gi and Ukraine for Gi.
Among the winners in the Juniors division, great skills were shown by Alu Bochkaev, Gold in 77kg category.
United States, candidate to host the 2016 edition, grab the gold with Mike Kelly in the 84kg Veterans.
Both Alu Bochkaev and Mike Kelly, being the national champion in their country, will fight in the World Grappling Championship for Seniors that will be held 8-12 October in Antalya, Turkey.
