Today Disney and Lucasfilm made it official: Rogue One: A Star Wars Storyfrom director Gareth Edwards and starring Felicity Jones,Diego Luna,Ben Mendelsohn,Donnie Yen,Mads Mikkelsen,Alan Tudyk, Jiang Wen andForest Whitakerwill make its Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D and DVD debut on April 4th, 2017.

FX has set the premiere date for the third season of “Fargo.” The newest installment of the anthology series from writer and executive producer Noah Hawley will debut Wednesday, April 19 at 10 p.m. on the cable channel.
Currently in production in Calgary, the third season of “Fargo” stars Ewan McGregor as twins Emmit and Ray Stussy — Emmit the parking-lot king of Minnesota, Ray a balding, pot-bellied parole officer who blames his brother for his misfortunes. Carrie Coon, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and David Thewlis also star.
The new season is set in the year 2010, making it the most contemporary installment in the crime-drama anthology loosely inspired by the films of Joel and Ethan Coen. Sony and Japan’s Mitsui Launch Animation Joint Venture

Sony Pictures Entertainment (Japan) is looking to take anime to a global audience in partnership with Japanese trading company Mitsui & Co.
The two firms have created joint venture Ak Holdings Corporation, in which Sony has a majority. Ak will operate the two companies’ existing Japanese animation channels, Animax and Kids Station, and also produce and distribute animation content.
With plans to expand into live animation events and to manage animation-themed restaurants, the operation is looking at worldwide expansion. The scheduled launch date is March 31.
“Anime has grown to become a major cultural export with massive commercial appeal around the world,” said Masao Takiyama, managing director of Spej Television Network, and representative director of Kids Station and Animax, in a statement. “Combining the strengths of Sony’s Animax with Mitsui’s Kids Station will allow us to increase our production capacity and reach fans of all ages in Japan and around the world.”

Fox Searchlight Pictures has set a July 7 release for Amanda Lipitz’s documentary “Step” — making it the first title to go up against Sony’s “Spider-Man: Homecoming.”
Fox Searchlight bought rights to the movie last month following its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival.

In 2008, at age 16, Demi Lovato became a rising star, landing the lead role in Disney Channel’s hit original movie“Camp Rock” alongside the Jonas Brothers, rapidly becoming a teen icon.
